Hi, I’m Larissa.
I was born in a small town in Brazil, and I grew up listening to many genres of music, mostly Brazilian music. My family doesn’t have any musicians, but somehow I fell in love with rock and guitars.
2002
Video games played a big role in shaping my music taste, and my first guitar was a guitar from the game Guitar Hero. I spent hours and hours playing it, and I thought that if I could play all the notes correctly with my eyes closed, I’d learn how to play the real guitar, which was my biggest goal in childhood.
When I realized it, I was obsessed with everything about guitars. I got a real one for Christmas, finally! I learned the basics with a teacher and then started learning everything on YouTube and from tabs on the internet.
I started with the acoustic guitar, playing mostly fingerstyle. That way, I could play all the songs by myself, mixing melody, beats, and chords on the same instrument.

2012
Eventually, I felt the need to play louder, with more distortion, I wanted to play epic guitar solos, so I got an electric guitar. It wasn’t great, and neither was any of my gear, but we all have to start somewhere, and that’s what I had.
As a teen, I had many projects in mind, I wanted to create. So I started creating blogs, Facebook pages, editing videos, photos, anything. I liked having something that was made by me and making it grow. That’s how I developed my abilities with social media and editing, and also learned English.
Unfortunately, where I come from, it’s not common, It feels almost impossible to become a recognized artist, and I had no examples of anyone who had made it. So I went to university, like everybody does. I started studying engineering, and I hated it.

2020
Then the COVID pandemic came, and I went back home. It felt right to be back home, and I started creating again. This time, I wanted to do it differently. I wanted it to be unique, and what’s more unique than yourself? So I combined my two passions: guitar and creating content/videos.
“Let’s make guitar covers for YouTube.” I put on my leather jacket, and set up my phone camera. Wait, how do people record guitars for a video? I had no idea, so I used my notebook microphone to record the audio. It turned out terrible, but that’s where it all started: I had my first video uploaded on YouTube.
After a few more videos, one actually went pretty well. Is it really possible to make this a profession? I wondered if I could actually make money from YouTube. That was so out of my reality that I kept working before celebrating, thinking that maybe I had found a path that I loved and could follow.
My goal was one video per week, and that’s what I religiously did. After a while, I got my first collabs, so I finally got to upgrade my gear. I spent my first money buying recording equipment.

2023
So okay, now I have a successful YouTube channel, and that’s the coolest thing that could ever happen to me, and I would have never imagined it.
But I needed to grow.
So I packed my bags and moved to a capital city in Brazil to live by myself and play gigs with other musicians. It was a fun period of my life, and I learned a lot. I started developing my persona on stage and found out that being on stage is the best feeling in the world.
I kept posting consistently, and my videos improved a lot. I learned through experience so many things about recording, producing, management, and filmmaking, and of course, I dedicated many hours of my days to developing my guitar skills, which got incredibly better from where I started back in 2020. It was not an easy path.
But I needed to grow.

2025
I opened for Alice Cooper at Best of Blues and Rock festival in Brazil. I shared the stage with Nita Strauss, that woman is amazing on stage! I met amazing musicians, Vincent from Alice Cooper gave me great advice, and everyone was very kind and nice to chat with.
I was invited by my favorite guitar brand to visit the United States. I recorded an interview and a playthrough video for them, it was a dream come true. Now I work with my favorite brands, I got support from Ernie Ball and Marshall, and I have some of the best equipment a guitar player could ask for.
